The Professional Gamer - September 27, 2013

Hello Readers!  Apologies for the long absence, but between Nan Desu Kan and my current work schedule, I have had no time for playing games, and even less for writing an article.  This past week I have finally found time to be a geek again.  Read on to find out how my week went.

Watching:

This week I started watching Tenchi Muyo!, the Tenchi OVA.  So far, ZeldaQueen and I have watched the first 13 episodes which have recently been re-released as a Blu-Ray / DVD combo pack.  Unfortunately, this series suffers from a lack direction and consists of several pieces made a different times with only a loose plot tying everything together.  Hopefully, the rest of the series will be released soon, so that I can find out if it adds more to the series and helps tie everything together.  Also, the dubbing is still the old Pioneer, which is rather lackluster.

Playing:

This week, I started playing Torchlight 2 with Zeldaqueen.  We are enjoying it a lot.  The classes have fun abilities and the co-operative play was a great new feature for this sequel.

Reading:

My library books had to be returned to the library, so I didn't get any reading done this week.  It feels like the time of year that I need to start reading the Lord of the Rings again, so I may pick that up again this week.

That's all for this week.  Join me again next Friday for another weekly update of the Professional Gamer.
