Hello readers, and welcome back again! This week, I’ve been doing the usual: back at work and doing some geeky things on the side. In terms of significant events this week, I finally caught up on my podcast queue, leaving me some additional time to read during my commute. I’m excited to enjoy some good books again. So, let’s look at what else I found time for this week.

First up, I’m continuing my watch through Avatar. I’m currently in Book 2, which has some great moments that I love a lot, and also has that long segment in Ba Sing Se that always seems to drag. I’ve never really figured out why though. I’ll try to focus a bit more this time through and figure it out. Then again, I’m not really a media critic (at least, not a trained one), so, I may not have enough experience and understanding of film language to be able to explain things.

Next up, new anime! Specifically, Mob Psycho 100 season 2. I’ve been excited for this sequel since it was announced. Mob is such a great series with fun characters and lots of attempts to subvert expectations. The first episode was good and I’m hoping that it will continue. Also, That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime has come to a pretty good (season?) climax. I kinda saw where it was going, but it was a fun ride. It sounds like there is more to come for the anime. I’m looking forward to that. Finally, Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san finished off its season nicely.

Lastly, I’m working my way towards a big cool nebula in Elite: Dangerous. I at least seem to be finding some systems that have not been completely explored, which will give me a bit of a bonus to the credits I earn for exploring. In the last few days, I’ve gone from about 100 jumps to get to the nebula, to less than 40. I’m gonna log in again in a little bit and try to get further. So, wish me lots of luck now.

And that’s it. Next week, I may be a bit busy again, but should have some time to watch a bit of anime and continue flying around the Milky Way. Until then, have a great week and game on!
