Entries in NDK Sweet 16 (10)
To wrap up my NDK Sweet 16 experience, I'll be discussing a bit about some of the other panels I got to see this past year. There were a lot of panels to choose from this year, but of course with limited time frames, other panels occurring at the same time, interviews, eating, etc, there's no way I could get to all I wanted. That's okay though as I felt that the panels I did attend were interesting and had a good time at them.
Two "Behind the Scenes" panels were presented at NDK this year; one featured Clarine Harp and Patrick Seitz discussing DVD production, while the second featured Chris Cason discussing voice acting and recording. Read on for more details regarding how anime adaptation and production are conducting.
So this is the audio interview that worked out pretty well. We had the fantastic opportunity to interview the man, the myth, the legend, Patrick Seitz at NDK's Sweet 16.
Funimation brought its presence back to NDK this year to let us know what they are doing in the world of anime. The panel was led by their convention manager Sully who had lots of news to share.
This year, NDK was able to get two prominent figures in the Japanese Anime Industry; Mr. Omaru Kobayashi and Mr. Masao Maruyama. Mr. Kobayashi is an animator and director who has worked mostly with Madhouse and Mr. Maruyama is a co-founder/producer of Madhouse as well as the founder of a new anime company called MAPPA.
Welcome to our NDK special podcast. We have visited Nan Desu Kan, saw the panels and spoke with some of the guests. Now we will pass on what we saw to you, our listeners.
The rather limited notes are at the podcast page.
There are two major things that go hand in hand at NDK, cosplay and pictures. You never can have one without the other it would seem. As such we did take a decent amount of pictures this year. They are now up for your viewing enjoyment.
