Borderlands 2 Review

Shoot.  Loot.  Repeat.

After playing the crap out of the original Borderlands, I have been anxiously waiting to get back to the world of Pandora.  Gearbox and 2K Games have created a sequel in a way sequel's are supposed to be made, it's better.  Borderlands 2 improves in every aspect over its predecessor making it a truly enjoyable experience.  Fans of the original will no doubt want to check out the sequel.  If you never played the original Borderlands, that is okay, you can still jump in with two feet.  If you are a fan of shooters and loot driven games, do yourself a favor and buy Borderlands 2, you will not be disappointed.

Updated on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 7:26PM by Registered CommenterChris "Assimilator" McLerran

This really did not come as a surprise to me, or just about any one else, but Diablo III has broken the record for PC game sales in a 24 hour period. In the first 24 hours of the game being on sale they sold 3.5 million copies. This number doesn't include the 1.2 million copies that people got with their World of Warcraft annual pass subscription. That means approximately 4.7 million people were ready to play on day 1. Over the next week that number grew to 6.4 million users. Congratulations in the record Blizzard, and in being able to have so many bugs at launch and still have people love you.

The Holy Trinity...Anybody who knows me or has been reading any of my past Conversations with IrishPride articles, knows that I am absolutely enamored with the Mass Effect universe.  Well, I just finished Mass Effect 3 and I come to you with a review of the final chapter.  Does the conclusion of Commander Shepard's epic trilogy end with a big bang?  (See what I did there with the big bang comment, it being a sci fi game and all, I know, I'm weird!)
