Starting this week, we will be presenting a series of panels that were recorded at Nan Desu Kan, 2019. This first episode presents a panel about localization with Teca and Lauren Scanlan, who has worked for Kodansha Comics. They discussed the primary tasks that are typical of a localization effort, including licensing, translating, and production; and they answered some audience questions. Unfortunately, the microphone had trouble picking up the audience, so you may not be able to understand all of their questions. I hope you enjoy the podcast anyways.Read More
An interview with Dante Basco, recorded at Nan Desu Kan 2019. Dante is best known as Rufio in Hook and Prince Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender. I enjoyed talking to his thoughts on acting and becoming a role model and influence for those younger than him.
Our opening music is by BoxCat Games, released under a Creative Commons Attribution license. You can find their music at boxcat.bandcamp.com.
Hi all! Chris and I are back from Nan Desu Kan with a quick report. Other coverage will follow shortly. Game on!
We recorded Cherami Leigh's Voice actor Q&A panel at Nan Desu Kan 2018. The audio quality is not the best; we were in a large room and some of the audience members were a long ways from the microphone. You won't always be able to hear the questions, but you should be able to here Cherami's answers.
We recorded a press conference with Lex Lang at Nan Desu Kan. Lex has voiced about a million iterations of Soldier B, Goemon in Lupin the Third, Dr. Doom in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Fire Lord Sozin in Avatar the Last Airbender. Please enjoy the podcast!
The next in our series of NDK 22 press conferences is Sandy Fox. She tends to voice the cute girl characters like Chibi-Usa in Sailor Moon and Tachikomo in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Enjoy!
Elizabeth Maxwell had a full on press conference this year at NDK. Please enjoy!
We interviewed Zach Aguilar at NDK 2018 and discussed how he started voice acting as well as his hopes for the future.
Here is our interview with Ian Sinclair, recorded at NDK 2017.
Hello everyone and thank you for your patience. Here's our interview with Kyle Hebert, recorded at Nan Desu Kan 2017. Enjoy!
