This category did not have a lot of entries to go with it this year, but that does not mean that we were going to leave it out in the cold. The nominees for this category are:
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
Mortal Kombat
IrishPride fought tooth and nail for Mortal Kombat to claim victory, but that would not come this day. The award between these two goes to Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. The massive roster of characters that are available in this game (and it's follow up later in the year) helped nudge it over the top.

This is the best fighting game and I like to see the fight of Marvel Vs. Capcom and I happy to know that this was the best fighting game of 2011, now I am excited for its new version.
