There are two types of art in a game.  The first is very obvious, without graphics you have no game.  The second has become more vital though, and that is a soundtrack that brings the game alive.  So to that we present the award of the best original music of 2011.  Our nominees are:

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Assassin's Creed: Revelations

And our winner is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. While not all brand new music, the orchestrated music from the game came second to none.  They took established music from the franchise and took it up a notch.  If you get a chance to listen to the soundtrack I highly advise you do, and if you can hit up the concert, even better.

You have no idea how badly I wanted to give this game more awards then one.
