When Day 2 rolled around for Assimilator and I, we had a plan of action in place to check out the West Hall which contained the big guns of the video gaming industry: Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony. Upon entering the hall, I immediately lost track of Assimilator because there was one game I really wanted to try for the Wii U and that was Zombi U.

IrishPride Mortal Kombat is not rated ‘M’ for “Mature”, it’s rated ‘M’ for “Mother F*ck That Looked Like It Hurt A Lot!” Fighting fans rejoice, there is a new game that you can add to your collection and if you’re a Mortal Kombat fan, well, that's just icing on the cake. Mortal Kombat is one of the best fighting games I have ever played and for all of us that enjoyed the old school Mortal Kombat of yesteryears; you will be giddy with delight.

Meet the EnemyWe once again return to the world of Thedas in Bioware’s next installment of the Dragon Age series. For those not familiar with the Dragon Age series, it takes place in the world of Thedas where, due to the misuse of magic, the “Maker” has turned his back on the world. Those that caused this were turned into “Darkspawn”, evil creatures without souls that destroy everything in their path and live mostly underground. Once every few hundred or thousand years, the Darkspawn gather together into a large horde and assault the surface under the command of an “Arch Demon”, an ancient and powerful “Old God” that has been corrupted by the Darkspawn.

Chris "Assimilator" McLerran Level design, in most games you are set in a specific motif. Battlefields, warehouse, space based, etc. In most games you have a given theme and you need to stick to that in order for the game to make an ounce of sense. But Psychonauts changes this entirely. Sure you have the main world of your summer camp, but the actual game play happens in the minds of others. This allows one level to be on such a completely different plane then another that you get a true feeling that each and every level in unique. Whether you are running across the mentally unstable world of your coach, the defeated Bonaparte relative, or the forlorn artist. Each and every world has its own style, and as such each level has it's own elements for how to play it.

Chris "Assimilator" McLerran E3 – The Final Day Wow, has it been three days already? More pictures were taken, more demos were played, and more swag was had. The events that took place seem almost too much for words. But we will try our best for you. Things started off for us back at the Nintendo booth where we immediately lined up for Zelda, and it was even the correct line this time.
