/Hello again everyone! Here's a report from Saturday at DakuCon. The convention is maintaining its small size, but is definitely busier here today. The attendee level feels appropriate for the size of the venue and people seem to be enjoying themselves a lot. I attended some more panels today, so let's talk about that first.

/Very often you can find geeks doing what they can to help those around them. You have Child's Play and Extra Life helping kids. But while at Dream Hack Denver I ran into another group that was selling geek flavored stickers for another cause. Going under the name of AC Custom Designs they are a non-profit that focuses on keeping the world's biodiversity in third world countries. A word from the gentleman that was manning their table at Dream Hack Denver.
The Professional Gamer - November 6, 2017
/Hi readers! It's been another fun week in the world of seasonal anime. I didn't find any time to play video games this week because I spent most of the week assembling IKEA furniture. Our collection of books and DVD's have grown to such a point that my old shelves could no longer contain them. I'm now the proud owner of 4 full-sized and 2 narrow Billy bookcases. Everything looks a lot more organized now, and its a lot easier for me to find comics to read. On that note, let's talk about what I've been doing this week.

Wow, can you believe it is already November? And with the second to last month of the year comes the last (or at least the last I am aware of) convention of the season, Daku Con. What is Daku Con you might ask? Well it is a first year geek convention that is 18+. The convention is going to be held at the Radisson Hotel Denver Southeast (I-225 and S. Parker) on 11/10 - 11/12.
OK, so now you have the base details. Your first question may be, why an 18+ convention? To answer that question I am going to reference the front page of the Daku Con website.
