And the last of the big E3 presentations, Nintendo Direct. What will I see and what will I be utterly disappointment in not seeing (looking at you Metroid Prime 4). That is what this article is all about.Read More
Sony is the second longest running console manufacturer that is in the game now. Over the past year I have started to play more Sony titles thanks to their support of the single-player story experience, something I rather enjoy. So what did they show at their briefing this year? Let's take a look.Read More
Ubisoft always brings a large set of games to E3. Usually an Assassin's Creed title, something Tom Clancy, a dancing title, and usually something a bit different. So what was on this years docket?Read More
Bethesda didn’t have a ton of games, but what they showed was quality. Elder Scrolls, Fallout and a new franchise. They did not disappoint… yet. They better release that Samsung Skyrim title. I need to justify buying a fridge with a screen on it :-).Read More
To say Microsoft showed a lot of games would be an understatement. They had 50 games, some already released but with new content, some were exclusive, and some just new. Although there was not always a lot said about these games.Read More
The annual event is here to show new games and what we can hope to expect for the next year. EA was the first to do their press briefing, and I am finally watching it. This coming late has absolutely nothing to do with me binge-watching My Hero Acadamia. No nothing at all...Read More
Hey Guys, Cari here and I’m reporting on E3 2017 after returning from L.A. I don’t have a ton to report this year but here are my first impressions of the things that I saw. Day one I got to see Natsume’s booth, DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT, and Marvel versus Capcom. (I saw many things including gaming setups and technology and there were a ton of games showcased this year, these are what I got my hands on). Day two was very light, I played Super Mario Odyssey and Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, and watched Chris play some Knack II. Day three I played Lego Dimensions and Sonic Forces.Read More
No trip to E3 is complete with a nice mix of photos. And while the booth babes of years gone past don't really make a showing, the booths themselves are always pretty awesome.
The photos can also be found on the photo floor page.
Mario Odyssey of the newest entry in the long line of games about a plumber that I don't think actually has any plumbing experience. And, if memory serves, the first new 3D version of the game since Mario Galaxy 2 . In this have Bowser has, unpredictability, kidnapped Princess Peach! I know, such a plot twist. This time he has even sent it wedding invites though. But he made a grave mistake, he pissed off a magic top hat! Sure Bowser has perfected his plan on stopping Mario, but Mario with a magic hat? Doom has arrived on Bowser's door stop. Or at least it will once Mario and Cappy (the aforementioned hat) have finished gathering a band for his old girlfriend, Paulina.Read More
Capcom had a showing of the newest entry in the MvC universe, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite . The booth had two ways to play, versus mode and the full story. The full story takes about 30 minutes to run through, so their is a little substance there. The versus mode was the popular draw, although this may have been due to the faster line. Cari and I went head to head in a one round match. The gameplay was quick with here making heavy use of here infinity stone to keep me close to her preventing me from using ranged attacks. The game was fun and I look forward to the full relase when it comes out.
