The Professional Gamer - June 1, 2018

It has certainly been an eventful week! The Adventure Event in Pokemon GO, which started last week, continues on. At the same time, Alolan Exeggutors are spawning throughout the world. These Exeggutors count as Grass/Dragon type, so if you have had trouble capturing enough Dragon-type Pokemon in the past, now is a great chance. I may be able to earn the Silver level of the Dragon-type Badge during this event, which will be a welcome bonus. Let's talk a bit more about more serious games and anime!

The Professional Gamer - May 25, 2018

After I posted my article last week, I spent the rest of the night playing Civilization V. I'm not sure why I had that sudden desire to play an older game. But, due to its turn based nature, it makes a good game to goof around on while you are talking with friends. I set my first game to medium difficulty and got creamed in the classical era. I started another game, and am now on my way to building a spaceship to leave this stupid rock. Maybe I'll finish that game up later today.

Last Sunday was Mother's Day, which meant I spent a good part of the weekend with my mom and my mother-in-law. After a push last week, I'm caught up on seasonal anime currently. Now I have to wait for new episodes to be released in order to have things to watch. On the other hand, after watching another critic talk about Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online I decided to give the show a chance. So, let's talk about some seasonal anime again.

I may be getting older. Convention recovery has moved from a one day affair to an almost week long malaise. I'm finally getting back into the normal routine of life and work now. I'm going to do a write up on Colorado Anime Fest soon. Later, I'll start editing the podcasts in order to post them starting next week.
