Another week in the midst of the inter-season anime drought. Funimation has been a little slow adding the last few episodes of My Hero Academia to their simul-dub collection, so I've had to find other things to watch instead. Also, I'm thinking about a new MMO now. Which I may have already downloaded and started a free trial on. So, what's going on then? Read on to find out.

We're just past Independence Day here in the U.S., and I decided to take a few days off to better enjoy the holiday. I spent some time puttering around my house, finishing up some projects, and then spent most of the rest of the time having fun and relaxing. I won't bore you with the house projects, so let's talk about fun stuff instead.

I had a slightly strange end to an ordinary week. I was at home this week for a change, and spent most of my time as normal. Work during the day; chores and a little bit of fun time in the evenings. Earlier in the week was a lot of chores, while later I had more time for fun. Then, we had some cool news today. Anyways, lets talk a bit about what I was doing to goof off.

In years past, Denver Comic Con has been horribly draining for me; taking a lot of energy and not giving a lot back. But this year was different. I spent most of the weekend helping Crystal at her table (table BB-8, just by chance). From behind the table, I was able to talk with a lot of attendees and see a lot of cool costumes. Still, I had a quick look through Chris's photos, and there were a whole lot of costumes that I missed. I took some photos too, if you are into that sort of thing. It has certainly been an eventful week! The Adventure Event in Pokemon GO, which started last week, continues on. At the same time, Alolan Exeggutors are spawning throughout the world. These Exeggutors count as Grass/Dragon type, so if you have had trouble capturing enough Dragon-type Pokemon in the past, now is a great chance. I may be able to earn the Silver level of the Dragon-type Badge during this event, which will be a welcome bonus. Let's talk a bit more about more serious games and anime!

After I posted my article last week, I spent the rest of the night playing Civilization V. I'm not sure why I had that sudden desire to play an older game. But, due to its turn based nature, it makes a good game to goof around on while you are talking with friends. I set my first game to medium difficulty and got creamed in the classical era. I started another game, and am now on my way to building a spaceship to leave this stupid rock. Maybe I'll finish that game up later today.

Last Sunday was Mother's Day, which meant I spent a good part of the weekend with my mom and my mother-in-law. After a push last week, I'm caught up on seasonal anime currently. Now I have to wait for new episodes to be released in order to have things to watch. On the other hand, after watching another critic talk about Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online I decided to give the show a chance. So, let's talk about some seasonal anime again.
